Pengaruh Arah Sudut Datang Gerakan Tanah Akibat Gempa Terhadap Kerusakan Struktur Bangunan Toko (Studi Kasus)
Abstract
Gempa bumi adalah getaran atau guncangan yang terjadi di permukaan bumi akibat pelepasan energi dari dalam secara tiba-tiba yang menciptakan gelombang seismic. Ada dua sesar yang menjadi sumber utama gempa tektonik yaitu sesar geser mendatar (strike-slip) Sumatera, di sepanjang jalur pegunungan Bukit Barisan, dan sesar lipatan (subduction) Sumatera di dasar lautan Hindia lepas pantai barat Sumatera. Dalam penelitian ini, ada 3 model rumah toko (ruko) yang akan dianalisis. Analisis model ini dilakukan dengan cara linier dan non-linier. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui arah sudut yang lemah dari bangunan toko akibat gempa, simpangan antar lantai, simpangan atap, dan pola keruntuhan yang terjadi dari ke tiga model ruko yang terdapat di Kota Prapat. Dari hasil analisis data, dapat diambil kesimpulan: nilai maksimum untuk simpangan antar lantai dalam analisa nonlinear maupun analisa linear terjadi pada ketiga model untuk semua arah sudut datang. Serta analisis pola keruntuhan, rata-rata elemen yang mengalami sendi plastis pertama kali pada ke tiga model ruko yang ditinjau terjadi di kolom dasar. Yang mengakibatkan terjadinya soft story pada ke tiga ruko tersebut.
