Analisis Makna pada Lagu Band Fourtwnty (Suatu Kajian Semiotik terhadap Lirik Lagu)

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan makna pada lagu band Fourtwnty melalui album Ego dan Fungsi Otak. Album tersebut memiliki tujuh lagu, diantaranya ; Segelas berdua, Zona Nyaman, Kusut, Nyanyian Surau, Realita, Trilogi, dan Kita Pasti Tua. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif kualitatif dan peneliti mengunakan teori oleh Ferdinand De Saussure. Pada penelitian, peneliti menemukan beberapa data yang dibagi menjadi aspek sintagmatik dan aspek paradigmatik. Aspek sintagmatik adalah hubungan yang terdapat di antara unsur-unsur dalam suatu tuturan yang tersusun secara literal sedangkan aspek paradimatik adalah analisis yang mengidentifikasi sebuah unit tanda yang berada di dalam suatu bahasa. Data tersebut ditemukan di dalam semua lagu yang berada pada album lagu tersebut.
