Analisis Kesulitan Belajar Matematika pada Siswa Kelas V SD Melalui Pendekatan Pembelajaran Berbasis Masalah

Abstract


Kemampuan pemecahan masalah merupakan salah satu kemampuan yang harus dimiliki siswa. Namun dalam proses pembelajaran, siswa cenderung kesulitan mengembangkan kemampuannya dalam memecahkan masalah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kesalahan siswa dalam menyelesaikan masalah matematika, menganalisis kesulitan siswa dalam menyelesaikan masalah matematika, dan menelusuri faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi kesulitan siswa dalam menyelesaikan masalah matematika. Jenis penelitian ini adalah deskriptif kualitatif. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas V. Data dalam penelitian ini dikumpulkan dengan menggunakan wawancara, angket, tes dan studi dokumentasi. Data dianalisis menggunakan metode kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kesalahan siswa tertinggi terdapat pada pelaksanaan pemecahan masalah matematika. Sedangkan kesalahan siswa yang paling rendah terdapat pada koreksi pemecahan masalah. Sebagian besar siswa masih mengalami kesulitan dalam menyelesaikan soal cerita, melakukan perhitungan matematis, gaya belajar guru, dan kurangnya respon siswa. Selain itu, kesulitan siswa dapat dipengaruhi oleh faktor internal dan eksternal. Jadi dapat disimpulkan bahwa masih banyak permasalahan yang berkaitan dengan kemampuan pemecahan masalah pada siswa kelas V.
