Pengaruh Media Wall Chart dalam Meningkatkan Kemampuan Menulis Teks Pengumuman pada Peserta Didik Kelas VII SMP Pembangunan Nasional Kecamatan Pagar Merbau T.P 2016/2017

Abstract


Media pembelajaran merupakan hal yang sangat penting untuk diperhatikan, karena media pembelajaran sangat mempengaruhi tingkat pemahaman siswa terhadap materi yang disampaikan di kelas. Media pembelajaran merupakan sarana untuk menyampaikan informasi dari pengirim pesan kepada penerima pesan, dengan harapan proses komunikasi pembelajaran dapat berjalan degan efektif dan pesan yang ingin disampaikan dapat diterima secara utuh oleh siswa sehingga pada akhirnya akan meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas media wall chart dalam meningkatkan kemampuan menulis teks pengumuman siswa. Siswa diberikan tes untuk mendapatkan hasil ketuntasan belajar siswa, aktivitas belajar siswa dan respon siswa terhadap pembelajaran. Kemudian peneliti mendeskripsikan hasil tersebut dalam analisis data. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode eksperimen dengan menggunakan one group pre testpost test design dan penelitian ini menggunakan alat pengumpul data berupa tes, yaitu tes tertulis. Jumlah skor kelas menggunakan media wall chart adalah 2706 dengan mean 84,5 dan jumlah skor kelas tidak menggunakan wall chart adalah 1864 dengan mean 58,2. Hasil analisis data dilakukan dengan menggunakan uji hipotesis atau uji-t. Hasil pengujian pada taraf ? = 0,05% diperoleh nilai t hitung > t tabel pada taraf signifikan ? = 0,05% dengan dk =
